JKJ & Hörtkorn Joint Venture

Heavy winds and pouring rain did not stop JKJ & H International's inaugural Open House from being a big success.
A full house of guests ranging from representatives of German - American owned companies, insurers, lawyers, chamber of commerce representatives and clients made the drive to Newton, Pennsylvania, to participate in the formal opening of this newly formed joint German - American joint venture company.

When Christian Hörtkorn, Managing Director of Heilbronnn, Germany based Dr. Friedrich Hörtkorn GmbH, and John Wright, President of Johnson, Kendall & Johnson, Inc. near Philadelphia, PA opened the Oktoberfest inspired event, many months of planning and hard work already lay behind them.

JKJ & H International, the joint venture company was founded to add value to both parent and subsidiary companies by providing precise, tailor-made services and advice to companies doing business in both Germany and the United States.

The joint venture idea originated in an exchange of staff between JKJ and Hörtkorn. Today, Daniel Reck and Brian Laurinaitis, the participants in this exchange, both work in the new joint venture firm.
