Sutton Winson has purchased a commercial broking operation in Petersfield, Hampshire in pursuit of their strategy to expand through selective acquisition and organic growth. Previously managed by Perkins Slade, the business perfectly suits Sutton Winson’s expertise and, as importantly, the Petersfield team share Sutton Winson’s ethics in terms of customer service says David Thomson, Sutton Winson’s Managing Director.

Together with their offices in Twickenham (London) and Burgess Hill, the three Sutton Winson operations now form a near-perfect triangle covering the south-east of England.

‘We believe that there is a very bright future for independent brokers that can demonstrate their commitment and skills to their clients and prospects. Good people, and ongoing investment in them, are essential to making this happen. This acquisition is very much part of this thought process,” David Thomson explains.

Sutton Winson was established 40 years ago and the business now employs 100 staff in three offices.
