ASSICONSULT is one of the founding members of UNiBA Partners.

The company was founded in 1964 by Alfred Stimpfl. His son Gregor has now worked with him in managing the business for almost 20 years. ASSICONSULT ranks among the 30 leading brokerage companies in Italy. Its northern base and branch office in Milan cultivate strong customer relationships in northern and central Italy, and especially among businesses linked to German-speaking countries.

ASSICONSULT has extensive international experience with mid-sized multi-national clients - both Italian and foreign-based. Their clients' sectors include plastics, machinery and equipment manufacturers, foodstuffs and fruit industries, wood processors, large retail operations, hotels, motorway corporations, telephone companies and other service companies. Due to the firm’s base near the Dolomite mountains, it has experience with funiculars, cable cars and lift facilities.

Professional indemnity expertise is offered for engineers, architects, lawyers and accountants, among others. Specialist staff also handle healthcare, pension plans and sports group policies. Expertise in the credit management and insurance line is predominantly provided by specialist consultants in ASSICONSULT's Milan office. Additional services are also carried out by ASSICONSULT's claims department.

ASSICONSULT is a Lloyds' correspondent with full binding authority, and also has an office in Innsbruck, Austria.

Alfred (Fredi) Stimpfl is president of ASSICONSULT GmbH and ASSICONSULT Risk s.r.l. He has more than 40 years of experience in the insurance industry and is a member of the board of the National Association of Italian Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers (AIBA). Fredi has four children and is an avid sportsman.

Gregor Stimpfl’s (CEO) experience in insurance includes work in Germany, Austria and London before joining ASSICONSULT GmbH. Gregor is president of the High Added Value Companies of South Tyrol, a member of the board of directors of the South Tyrol Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the executive committee of the Association of Commerce, Tertiary Industry and Tourism, Bolzano. Gregor is a family man and father, and like Fredi he enjoys sports, particularly sailing.
