Headquartered in the financial heart of Casablanca, BASCO was established in 1979 and is today one of the main brokers in the Moroccan market. With very few coverages currently compulsory by law, Morocco’s insurance market is still in full development.

Basco is a full-service brokerage firm handling all of their client’s coverage needs ranging from property and casualty to motor and cargo as well as more specialized lines like professional indemnity. The firm also has particular expertise in the specific needs of the construction industry as well as agriculture. BASCO is the broker of record for many of the country’s manufacturing companies from industries as varied as leather products, textile and furniture production.

BASCO is a member of both FNACAM, the Moroccan brokers’ association and AIDA, the International Association for Insurance Law, of which Managing Partner Abdelfettah Hannaoui is the Treasurer.

BASCO’s Managing Partner Abdelfettah Hannaoui holds an insurance degree including a specialization in fire and aviation. Apart from enjoying family life Abdelfettah is a keen runner and competes annually in the Paris marathon. He also loves to play tennis.
